Affittacamere Rollando is located in the heart of Vernazza, one of the most photographed villages of the Cinque Terre, right next to Piazza Marconi. Here the life of the village is concentrated among typical shops, bars and restaurants, in a maze of alleys leading down to the small natural harbour protected by the promontory of the castle. Check-in takes place at the PathShop souvenir shop, behind the pharmacy, also a reference point for tourist information.

The property is about 40 metres from Vernazza’s railway station, convenient for reaching the other Cinque Terre villages such as Monterosso and Corniglia, the latter 2.3 km away, in just a few minutes. Vernazza’s beach is only 150 metres away, while the sea and the start of the Blue Trail are about 50 metres from the entrance door. Those arriving by car must leave their vehicle in Levanto or La Spezia and continue by train, as Vernazza has no parking within the village.

The area is particularly suited to hiking and beach tourism: in spring and autumn the Blue Trail, which crosses the five villages along the coast, offers views over the Ligurian Sea among vine-covered terraces; in summer, the sea at Vernazza and nearby beaches, such as Fegina in Monterosso, is the most popular destination.
