Al nodo di Andrea is located on Piazza Matteotti, in the heart of the historic centre of Monterosso al Mare, the westernmost village of the Cinque Terre. The area is pedestrian and lively, with shops, restaurants and gelaterias just steps from the entrance, with the historic centre beach about 100 metres away and Fegina beach 250 metres away, both reachable on foot within a few minutes.

Monterosso train station is 450 metres away and connects the village to the other Cinque Terre towns – Vernazza is 2.6 km away, Levanto about 4 km – making it easy to visit the area even without a car. Genoa-Sestri Airport is about 69 km away, an hour and a half’s drive along the coast. In the immediate surroundings there are several dining options, such as Da Eraldo restaurant, a few metres from the accommodation, and Il Piccolo Diavolo, both appreciated for Ligurian seafood cuisine.

In summer Monterosso is the starting point for the famous Sentiero Azzurro, which connects the five villages along the coast, and for boat trips to Vernazza and Riomaggiore, while the Cinque Terre National Park, 250 metres away, offers trekking routes among terraced vineyards and olive groves. In the cooler months, from autumn to spring, the village empties of day-trippers and offers a more authentic atmosphere, ideal for walks along the sea and visits to the small local museums, such as the Museo Navale Tecnico in Genoa, about 31 km away.
