Location & what to see

Albergo Adele is located on Via Monte Braulio, about 300 meters from Bormio’s historic center and just a step from the border of the Stelvio National Park, the largest protected area in the Italian Alps. The area retains the typical atmosphere of the alpine villages of Valtellina, with stone and wood buildings and the peaks of the Rhaetian Alps closing the horizon in every direction.

Bormio’s town center, with its pedestrian streets and shops, can be reached in just a few minutes on foot: Bistrot Pizzeria Umami is 300 meters away, while the Slot e Drink bar is about 500 meters away. For those arriving by car, the Stelvio Pass remains closed from November to the end of May, and during that period an alternative, longer route must be taken to reach the property. In summer, however, the pass becomes one of the most famous destinations for cyclists and hikers.

Guests can take advantage of discounted rates at Bormio’s thermal spas, historically known for their hot springs used since Roman times, and of the ski slopes in the winter season, with ski rental and storage available at the hotel. In summer, Summer Park Oga, an adventure park about 2.2 km away, is an ideal destination for families, while mountain lovers can head to Monte delle Scale (2521 m), 4.9 km away, or across the border to Switzerland’s Val Müstair, about 8 km away.
