Belvedere Bellagio is a 4-star hotel overlooking Lake Como, run by the same family for five generations since 1880, in the heart of Bellagio. The private garden features an outdoor pool, while the new spa area offers a Turkish bath, sauna, therapeutic shower and a relaxation zone with face and body treatments.
The rooms, including suites and apartments in the dependance, have elegant furnishings, air conditioning and satellite TV: most offer a balcony or terrace with a view of the garden or the lake, and some room types have a kitchenette or full kitchen, ideal for longer stays.
The panoramic restaurant, with a terrace overlooking the lake and mountains, is open from April to October for lunch and dinner, while sweet breakfast is served every day. The property is a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Bellagio, the harbour and places such as Villa Melzi and Villa Serbelloni, making it a convenient base for exploring the lakeshore on foot or by boat.

The accommodations at Belvedere Bellagio include classic rooms, suites and apartments in the dependance, ranging from 18 to 88 square metres. All options offer a private bathroom, air conditioning, soundproofing, satellite TV and a coffee machine, while the apartments also add a kitchenette or full kitchen and a separate living area, perfect for families or extended stays.
The simpler rooms, such as the Essenziale and the Essential Sunlit Room, are compact but bright, while the Corner Suite, the Junior Suite and the apartments in the dependance offer larger spaces, balconies or patios and lake or garden views. Several room types have a bathtub or pool view, and the choice of bed, where available, can be agreed at the time of booking between single or double beds of different sizes.

Belvedere Bellagio is located in one of the most sought-after areas of Bellagio, on the shore of Lake Como, just steps from Parco Martiri della Libertà, only 150 metres from the hotel. The historic centre of the village, with its stepped alleys and shops overlooking the lake, can be reached on foot in a few minutes, as can restaurants such as Cava Turacciolo and Art in Flower, both about 300 metres away.
The ferry harbour and the bus stop are connected to the property by a free shuttle running from 8:00 am to 9:45 pm, convenient for those arriving without a car or wishing to travel to other towns on the lake. The nearest railway stations are Fiumelatte and Lierna, 3 and 4 km away, while the reference airports are Milan Linate, Malpensa and Bergamo-Orio al Serio, all about 50-58 km away.
Bellagio is a classic starting point for visiting the lake’s historic villas: the Gardens of Villa Melzi are 750 metres away, Villa Carlotta 2.4 km, Villa Monastero 3.5 km and the Castello di Vezio, with its view over the lake’s three branches, 3.8 km. Villa del Balbianello, also made famous by film, is about 5 km away and can also be conveniently reached by boat. In summer the lake is suited to swimming, sailing and boat trips, while in cooler seasons the trails towards Passo Agueglio offer scenic walks.
