Brisilè Casavacanze is located on Strada Rio Sordo, in a hilly area just outside the centre of Barbaresco, among vineyard rows and scattered farmhouses typical of the Langhe. The setting is rural and quiet, with the characteristic terraced landscape that in 2014 was recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Langhe-Roero and Monferrato site.
For those travelling by train, Neive station is about 3.4 km away, while Alba station is 4.3 km away, both connected to the regional Piedmontese network. By car, Cuneo Levaldigi Airport can be reached in about 39 km, while Turin Airport is just over 60 km away, a useful option for those arriving from outside the region. In the immediate surroundings there are also a few dining options, such as the restaurant Taste’ just 550 metres away and Agriturismo Carlincarlota about 1.5 km away.
The area is particularly suited to those wishing to explore the Barbaresco and Barolo territory through wine cellars, tastings and walks among the vineyards, which can be enjoyed all year round thanks to a mild hilly climate. For a more demanding excursion, Cavour Castle is about 9 km away and the Cedar of Lebanon natural park about 12 km away, while the Sferisterio adventure park, 10 km away, offers an alternative for families with children. Cycling remains the most authentic way to explore the surrounding hills, from one village to the next.
