Camere Fontanavecchia is located in the upper part of Vernazza, one of the most photographed villages in the Cinque Terre, accessible only on foot along the stairways that climb up from the small harbor. The property occupies the first floor of a historic building on Via comandante Gavino and is just steps from the entrance to the Cinque Terre National Park, which practically borders the property.

Vernazza’s beach is about 300 meters away, while the village’s train station, a stop on the line connecting all the Cinque Terre villages, is just 50 meters away: a significant advantage in an area where cars are banned in the historic centers. Monterosso al Mare, with its Fegina beach, can be reached in about 3 km, while Corniglia is 2.4 km away. For those arriving from farther away, La Spezia Centrale station is about 24 km away and Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport is 106 km away.

In summer the village comes alive with swimming among the rocks and walks along the famous Blue Trail towards Monterosso and Corniglia, while in low season Vernazza shows its most authentic side, among quiet alleys and seafront restaurants such as Pippo and Il Pirata delle Cinque Terre, both a short walk from the property.
