The area is typical of the historic Ligurian centre: colourful houses overlooking the sea, narrow alleys and staircases leading down to the beach, with virtually no vehicle traffic.

Vernazza’s beach is 150 metres from the property, while the village’s train station is just 50 metres away, a significant advantage for those wishing to visit the other Cinque Terre villages without a car: Monterosso can be reached in just a few minutes by train, as can Corniglia, about 2,4 km away as the crow flies. For those wanting to head towards La Spezia, San Giorgio Castle and the Amedeo Lia Museum are about 27 km away, while the Naval Technical Museum and La Spezia Centrale station are about 25 km away. The nearest airport, Pisa Galileo Galilei, is about 107 km away. In the immediate surroundings there are several places to eat, such as Trattoria da Sandro, Gb Eat and Blue Marlin Bar, all within 100 metres of the property, as well as Vineria Santa Marta a short distance away.
