Casa Catò is located in the historic centre of Vernazza, one of the five villages that make up the Cinque Terre National Park, just steps from the small harbour and the colourful houses that characterise the village. The area is pedestrian and lively, with narrow alleys lined with bars and restaurants such as Trattoria da Sandro and the Blue Marlin Bar, both around 10 metres from the property.

Vernazza’s sandy beach is just 150 metres away, while the village’s train station is about 30 metres away: from here, regional trains connect to the other Cinque Terre villages in a few minutes and to the city of La Spezia in around 25 minutes, the main hub for those arriving from outside the region. The entrance to the Cinque Terre National Park is about 100 metres from the guest house.

Guests staying at Casa Catò can enjoy trekking along the famous trails linking Vernazza to Corniglia (beach 2.3 km away) and to Monterosso al Mare (beach about 2.8 km away), routes that are particularly scenic in spring and autumn when temperatures are milder.
