Chalet della Luna stands in the heart of Claviere, a border village in western Piedmont, just 450 metres from the Montgenèvre Pass and at the foot of the Via Lattea ski area, to which the property offers direct slope access. The village, above 1,700 metres in altitude, retains a genuine Alpine character, with narrow streets lined by stone and wood chalets, ski shops and local eateries such as ‘l Gran Bouc, just 20 metres away, and Il Vecchio Cambio, 100 metres away, as well as Caffè Torino right next to the property.

The location allows quick access to the other Via Lattea resorts: Cesana San Sicario is 7 km away, Sauze d’Oulx about 20 km, and Sestriere 22 km, all reachable in a few minutes by car along the Montgenèvre state road. Those arriving by train can rely on Briançon station, across the border in France, about 10 km away, while Turin airport is 105 km away, convenient for those planning their trip from abroad.

In winter the entire Via Lattea ski area offers hundreds of kilometres of slopes across Italy and France, while in summer the same trails become an ideal terrain for hiking and mountain biking, with Mont Chaberton, a peak of 3,131 metres, visible a short distance away and a destination for the most trained hikers.
