The property is also a 5-minute walk from the cycle path connecting Merano and Bolzano, popular with cyclists riding along the Adige Valley, and bicycles can be rented directly on site.
The surrounding area also offers plenty for those seeking culture and nature: the Messner Mountain Museum Firmian, set up in Sigmundskron Castle, is about 7 km away, while Lake Caldaro, among the warmest in the Alps and ideal for summer swimming, is about 11 km away. Farther away but reachable in a day trip are the Trauttmansdorff Castle Gardens in Merano, 15 km away, and the Mendola Pass, 9 km away, a starting point for hikes with views over the Adige Valley.
