GIO’EL Happiness Guest House is a guest house set up in a 19th-century building in the Borgo Santa Caterina district of Bergamo, just a 5-minute walk from a lively shopping area.
The property has been fully renovated and now offers air-conditioned rooms, each featuring a different colour scheme, with an electric kettle, flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with hairdryer. Some room types have a private terrace, city views, or views of the inner courtyard, and the Suite features two interconnecting rooms ideal for larger families.
Every morning a sweet and savoury breakfast is served, prepared with local ingredients and also available in vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free versions; in summer, breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace. WiFi is free throughout the property and private parking is available on site. The location allows guests to reach restaurants, cafés, and historic sites such as San Fermo and the Accademia Carrara on foot, while Bergamo railway station is about 1.2 km away and Orio al Serio airport is 2.5 km away.
The six room types at GIO’EL Happiness Guest House range from the Double/Twin Room, designed for two people, up to the Suite made up of two interconnecting rooms that can accommodate up to five guests. All rooms are air-conditioned and have a private bathroom with toiletries and hairdryer, a flat-screen TV, and an electric kettle for tea and coffee, and each is decorated with a different colour scheme.
Several rooms, including the Quadruple Room and the Triple Room with City View, overlook the city or an inner courtyard and include a private terrace; the Double/Twin Room with External Private Bathroom, on the other hand, remains the only option with a bathroom not attached to the room, although it is still private and equipped with a bathtub, bidet, and shower.
A 20 m² room overlooking the inner courtyard, the most compact in the property, designed for two guests. It is air-conditioned, with a private bathroom featuring toiletries, a flat-screen TV, and a safe; on request, the double bed can be replaced with two single beds.
At 22.5 m², this triple room accommodates up to three guests and offers the same courtyard view as the Double Room, but with the option of adding a third single bed. A private bathroom, air conditioning, and a safe complete the amenities.
The Quadruple Room is one of the largest rooms, at 27 m² with a balcony offering city views, ideal for families with children thanks to the combination of two single beds and one double bed. A private bathroom and air conditioning are guaranteed as in the other room types.
Designed for groups or larger families, the Suite consists of two interconnecting rooms totalling 25 m² and can accommodate up to five people, with city views and a private bathroom shared between the two rooms.
The only room type with a private bathroom located outside the room but reserved exclusively for its guests, this 18 m² room is the most affordable in the property and is designed for a single guest, with a shower, bidet, and complimentary bathrobes.
Similar to the standard Triple Room but with city views from its own terrace, this 22.5 m² room has a private bathroom with a shower and a tea and coffee set, making it the ideal choice for those who don’t want to miss out on the view.
