Hotel Barolo Classico is located on Via Lomondo, a short walk from the historic centre of Barolo, the small village that gives its name to the famous red wine of the Langhe and which hosts the Falletti Castle with its wine museum, the WiMu. The area is characterised by vineyards as far as the eye can see, historic wineries and a network of small streets perfect for walks between one osteria and another.

The centre of Barolo, with its restaurants and wine bars, can be reached on foot in just a few minutes: La Cantinella is just 50 metres from the hotel, while Il Bosco delle Galline Volanti is about 100 metres away and the Barolo Jazz Club, a reference point for an evening aperitif, is 150 metres away. For those arriving by train, the nearest stations are Santa Vittoria d’Alba and Monticello d’Alba, both about 10 km away, while the reference airport is Cuneo Levaldigi, 25 km away. Turin Caselle Airport is about 67 km away, convenient for those arriving from outside the region or from abroad.
