Hotel Savoia is located directly at Passo Pordoi, at an altitude of about 2,239 metres, one of the most famous mountain passes in the Dolomites and a landmark stop on the Grande Strada delle Dolomiti. The property stands right in front of the pass’s ski slopes, in a high-mountain setting away from the traffic of the valley floor, with Piz Boè, at 3,152 metres, visible just 2.7 km away as the crow flies.

Canazei, the nearest town with shops and services, is about 10 km away, while Bolzano Airport can be reached in about 37 km. Just outside the hotel is the bus stop connecting to the village, following the route of the Giro dei Quattro Passi, a very popular itinerary among hikers and cyclists. For meals, the Fodom restaurant is just 100 metres away, while Rifugio Fredarola and Baita Gherdeccia are 1.1 and 1.2 km away respectively.
