L’Aromatario

L’Aromatario is located in Piazza Negro, in the heart of the historic centre of Neive, one of the most characteristic villages of the Langhe, set among the vineyards that produce Barbaresco wine. The property occupies a 17th-century building directly overlooking the main square, in a pedestrian setting of stone alleys, colourful houses and historic wine cellars just steps from the entrance.

Those arriving by train can rely on Neive station, about 650 metres away, or Alba station, about 7 km away and connected to Turin and Genoa. The nearest airports are Cuneo-Levaldigi, 42 km away, and Turin, about 62 km away. Within a few minutes’ walk there are several dining options, including Donna Selvatica just 30 metres away and Degusto Enoteca con Cucina about 100 metres away, as well as the property’s own in-house restaurant.

The area is ideal for those wanting to explore the Langhe with wine tastings and excursions among the vine rows: nearby are Canelli Castle and Montegrosso d’Asti Castle, both about 13-15 km away, as well as the Museum of Arts and Crafts of the Past, 14 km away, which tells the story of Piedmontese rural life of times gone by.
