Genoa-Sestri Airport is the closest, about 68 km away, while La Spezia Centrale station, a hub for connections to Florence and Milan, is about 30 km away.

Some of the most popular trails of the Cinque Terre National Park start from Monterosso, such as the stretch towards Vernazza, which takes about an hour and a half to walk through olive groves and terraced vineyards.
