Le Relais du Boucher is a characterful bed & breakfast located in the heart of the historic centre of Gaby, a small village in the Aosta Valley at the foot of the Monterosa massif. The property occupies an ancient family building, where 18th-century boiserie, stone walls, reclaimed furniture from old mountain chalets and Gressoney stone stoves create a warm and authentic atmosphere, far removed from the anonymity of large hotels.
The management is entirely family-run and this is felt in every detail: from the artisanal breakfast — prepared with local products, sweet and savoury options, freshly made hot dishes and gluten-free choices — to the personalised attention given to every guest. The six rooms are all different from one another, some featuring exclusive wellness amenities such as a Turkish bath, biosaunas, a freestanding bathtub or a chromotherapy shower. The property also has a private spa accessible by reservation, with a warm cave, Turkish bath and mini hydromassage pool.
Outside, a large sunbathing terrace with sun loungers and sofas completes the offer. Just 15 minutes by car from the Monterosa Ski resort, it is an ideal base both for skiing enthusiasts and for those seeking relaxation among nature, castles and Aosta Valley villages.

Le Relais du Boucher offers six types of accommodation, each with its own identity and unique furnishings. The Deluxe rooms — available in double versions with Turkish bath, with bathtub, with shower or with balcony — range from 15 to 20 sq m and accommodate up to two guests, or up to four in the balcony option with a sitting area. All rooms include a private bathroom with complimentary toiletries, hairdryer, flat-screen TV with satellite channels, parquet flooring and heating.
Standing out for exclusivity are the Junior Suite with Sauna, featuring a separate bedroom, sitting area and private sauna with mountain views, and the 28 sq m Apartment with Balcony, designed for more independent stays thanks to a fully equipped kitchen — refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, hob — washing machine and dining area. Some rooms have a balcony with outdoor furniture and views over the surrounding peaks, making each accommodation suited to a different type of guest.
An 18 sq m room with an exclusive wellness touch: the private bathroom includes a Turkish bath, shower, bidet and complimentary toiletries. The room is tastefully furnished with parquet flooring, wardrobe, desk and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Mountain views frame the stay, while the electric kettle and bedside socket add everyday practicality.
A 15 sq m room with romantic charm, featuring a private bathroom with bathtub, separate shower, bidet and complimentary bath products. The balcony overlooks a peaceful view, while inside you will find parquet flooring, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, kettle, wardrobe and outdoor furniture to enjoy the mountain air.

The most spacious of the standard rooms, at 20 sq m and accommodating up to four guests. It features a sitting area with sofa bed, a balcony with outdoor furniture and a private bathroom with complimentary toiletries. A flat-screen TV, desk and kettle complete this versatile room, suitable for both couples and small families.
The crown jewel of the Relais: an 18 sq m Junior Suite with a separate bedroom, sitting area and private sauna, designed for those who want to combine comfort and wellness in a single accommodation. The mountain views are a constant backdrop, while the private bathroom includes a shower and complimentary bath products. A flat-screen satellite TV, wardrobe and heating complete the amenities.

The undoubted highlight is the private wellness area, accessible exclusively by reservation: it includes a sauna, hydromassage pool and warm cave, designed to ensure an intimate and exclusive experience after mountain hikes or days on the slopes.
Breakfast — entirely artisanal, with local sweet and savoury products and freshly prepared hot dishes — is also available in the room. On request, options for special dietary requirements are available, including gluten-free. The outdoor sunbathing terrace, with sun loungers and sofas, offers a pleasant space during the sunniest hours.
Among the practical services: luggage storage, room service, packed lunch option, ski storage, bicycle rental and organised walking or cycling tours. WiFi is free throughout the property. The property is entirely non-smoking, with a designated outdoor smoking area, and welcomes pets on request.
