The Santuario NS Soviore sits in an elevated position on the hills above Monterosso al Mare, surrounded by greenery within the UNESCO World Heritage Cinque Terre National Park. The building, a former Marian sanctuary, overlooks the village and the sea from a height that offers wide-ranging views over the coast, in a secluded and quiet setting compared to the tourist centre below, away from the traffic of the alleys and the busiest trails.

The property is not reached by public transport, so it is advisable to arrive with your own car: Monterosso railway station, the connecting point with the other Cinque Terre villages, is about 2 km away as the crow flies but about 7 km by road, while La Spezia can be reached in around 50 minutes by car. The nearest airport is Genoa-Sestri, about 69 km away. In just a few minutes you can head down to restaurants such as Agriturismo 5 Terre, 1.4 km away, and Ristorante il Ciliegio, only 750 metres from the sanctuary.

From here, several hiking trails set off across the Cinque Terre National Park, 1.3 km away, ideal in spring and autumn when temperatures are milder and the paths less crowded.
