Location & what to see

The apartment is located along Via Aurelia Orientale, in the San Faustino area, a residential district of Rapallo overlooking the Gulf of Tigullio, about 100 metres from Rapallo Beach. The neighbourhood is quiet yet well served, with small local bars and restaurants such as San Rocco, Le Cupole and Bar Aurelia, all within a few minutes’ walk.

Rapallo’s historic centre, with its castle on the sea, is about 750 metres away, while Rapallo railway station is 1.1 km away and connects in a few minutes to Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino. By car, Genoa-Sestri Airport is about 31 km away, roughly a 40-minute drive along the Aurelia road or the A12 motorway. Genoa city centre, with its Aquarium, can also be reached in under an hour.

The area is a good base for exploring the Riviera di Levante: in summer, the beaches of San Michele di Pagana and Prelo can be reached by boat or on foot, or you can take excursions to the Abbey of San Fruttuoso, perched on a small bay about 6 km away, and the village of Portofino, famous worldwide for its small harbour.
