The area is residential yet very lively, and retains a more genuine atmosphere than the more touristy streets of the centre.

Getting around is made easy by the proximity of two metro stations: Cavour, 500 metres away, and Repubblica-Teatro dell’Opera, 450 metres away, while Roma Termini railway station can be reached on foot in about ten minutes (800 metres). Those arriving by air will find Ciampino airport around 12 km away and Fiumicino airport 19 km away.
