Er Pirata is located in the Ostiense district, an area of Rome halfway between Aventino and Testaccio, an evolving neighbourhood known for its former industrial spaces converted into venues, art galleries and cultural centres such as the former Mattatoio. The district retains a lively, working-class character, with local bars and restaurants such as 78 Giri Caffè, just a few metres from the accommodation, and Estrobar, about 40 metres away.

In terms of connections, the property is extremely convenient: Roma Ostiense railway station is about 250 metres away, while Piramide metro station, on line B, is just 300 metres away and allows guests to reach the historic centre within a few minutes. Garbatella metro station is 650 metres away. Those arriving by plane will find Rome Ciampino Airport about 11 km away and Fiumicino Airport 18 km away.
