Hotel Celio is located in the Celio district, one of Rome’s oldest neighbourhoods, just steps from the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. The area retains an intimate atmosphere, with cobbled streets, historic churches and small venues, despite being in the archaeological heart of the city: the Colosseum is about 200 metres away, the Domus Aurea 150 metres away and the Arch of Constantine 400 metres away on foot.

Getting around without a car is easy: Colosseo metro station, on line B, is about 400 metres away, while the Cavour stop is 600 metres away. Termini Station, the capital’s main railway hub, can be reached in about 1.2 km, as can San Giovanni station at 1.3 km. For those arriving by plane, Ciampino Airport is about 11 km away, while Fiumicino is about 19 km away, both connected to the city centre by trains and shuttles.

Just a short walk away are also Palatine Hill, the Imperial Forums about 1 km away and Piazza Venezia at 1.4 km, essential stops for anyone visiting ancient Rome. Continuing towards the centre, the Trevi Fountain is reached in about 1.6 km, while Piazza Navona and Campo de’ Fiori are just over 2 km away, easy to combine in a single evening walk.
