Hotel Porta Pia

Hotel Porta Pia is a 3-star property in Rome that takes its name from the gate of the same name in the ancient Aurelian Walls, located just steps from the entrance. The building, dating back to the 19th century, occupies the second floor of a fully renovated property and retains original wooden floors paired with modern furnishings.

The rooms, around 14 square metres, are air-conditioned and equipped with flat-screen satellite TV, a private bathroom with shower and toiletries; some also offer a view over the city. The hotel provides free WiFi in all common areas and a service run by multilingual staff, particularly appreciated by couples.

The location, in the Piazza Fiume and Villa Torlonia area, allows several points of interest to be reached on foot and comfortable travel towards the centre thanks to the nearby Castro Pretorio metro station and Termini station, reachable in a few minutes by bus. A convenient address for those who want to visit Rome while staying away from the traffic of the more central districts.
