Location & what to see

The Social Hub Rome is located in the San Lorenzo district, historically a university area and today one of the capital’s liveliest neighbourhoods for nightlife and informal venues. The district retains an authentic, working-class character, away from the more touristic circuits, with Porta Maggiore railway station just 200 metres away and its archaeological remains visible right in front of the property.

Getting around is easy: the Lodi metro stop is 650 metres away, while Manzoni station is about 900 metres away, both useful for reaching the historic centre. The Colosseum is 2 km away, the Imperial Forums 2.8 km, and the Trevi Fountain about 3 km, all distances that can also be covered on foot with a 30-40 minute walk or in a few minutes by metro. Ciampino Airport is about 11 km away, while Fiumicino is 21.5 km away.

In the immediate surroundings there are plenty of places to eat, from Trattoria da Silvan to Pizzologia, both within 350 metres. For those wanting to explore monumental Rome, the Temple of Minerva Medica, the Domus Aurea and the National Roman Museum are all nearby, while weekends are well suited to evening strolls through the district’s many bars and venues, particularly lively in spring and summer thanks to the university presence.
