Vatican Plaza is located in the Prati district, one of Rome’s most elegant residential areas, characterised by wide, orderly streets, boutiques, historic cafés such as Habemus Café and neighbourhood trattorias including Trattoria Vaticano Giggi, just steps from the property’s entrance. We are one block from Piazza Risorgimento, a landmark of the area, and about 400 metres from the Vatican Museums.

For getting around, Ottaviano Metro Station is about 250 metres away, while Lepanto Metro Station is 750 metres away: both connect quickly to the historic centre and Termini Station. Roma San Pietro railway station is 1.2 km away, useful for those arriving by regional train. Rome’s airports are further away: Ciampino is about 15 km away, Fiumicino 17 km, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle on request.

Guests staying here can reach St. Peter’s Square on foot, 450 metres away, and the Vatican Gardens, 700 metres away, as well as Castel Sant’Angelo, 800 metres away, ideal for a sunset walk along the Tiber. In about 20-25 minutes on foot you reach Piazza Navona and Campo de’ Fiori, the heart of Baroque Rome and its nightlife.
