How to get there
Tarvisio is easy to reach by car on the A23 motorway, which climbs from Udine to the Austrian border, with the Tarvisio exit a few minutes from the centre. By train the Tarvisio Boscoverde station is on the line linking Udine to Villach, in Austria; by air the handiest airports are Trieste-FVG and, across the border, Klagenfurt and Ljubljana.
